What are Circlips? Circlips, Retaining Rings and Snap Rings are fasteners that grasp elements or installations onto a shaft or in a dwelling/bore when assembled in a groove. Once it's fixed, the exposed piece functions as a shoulder which holds the particular element or installation.
Circlips (also commercially known as Retaining Rings/Snaprings) are fasteners with numerous applications. The applications mentioned could quite easily be supplemented by a multitude of more specialised uses.

Spring steel C67S or C75S according to DIN EN ISO 10132-4 (at the choice of the manufacturer )
Hardness:
Shaft diameter ≤ 48 mm,470 HV bis 580 HV oder 47 HRC bis 54 HRC;
